Cercle Brugge is a professional football club based in Bruges, Belgium. The club was established in 1899 and ever since they acquired a very loyal fan base. Cercle Brugge focuses on promoting responsible sports education and developing young talent. At Cercle Brugge, there is a very strong sense of community and a family-like atmosphere.
To continuously engage with the community and give supporters and Cercle Brugge fans a behind-the-scenes look at the club, they were eager to launch a podcast.
Our Challenge:
We worked closely with Leentje Van Meirhaeghe and Pablo Vermote to shape the vision of “De Vereniging.” From the start, we helped define the podcast’s concept and unique selling points (USPs), ensuring it aligned with Cercle Brugge’s values and appeal. Our team developed a robust strategy to launch and promote the podcast across multiple channels, maximizing its reach and engagement.
The first season was a huge success, immersing listeners in football stories both on and off the field. Building on that momentum, we are now producing the second season, with even more compelling content and refined storytelling.
The production of “De Vereniging” was a collaborative effort. Our brand strategist, Julie Vandenhouweele, created a comprehensive communication plan with detailed guidelines to guide every step of the process.
The technical execution was managed by Sébastiaan Bal and Sam Caron, who designed the set with a multi-camera setup, optimized sound recording, and perfect lighting to capture Cercle Brugge’s cozy atmosphere. We handled every aspect of postproduction, delivering polished episodes with turnaround times of less than 48 hours—a critical factor in the fast-paced football industry.
With season two, “De Vereniging” continues to strengthen the bond between Cercle Brugge and its fans.
