Cercle Brugge is a professional football club based in Bruges, Belgium. The club was established in 1899 and ever since they acquired a very loyal fan base. Cercle Brugge focusses on promoting responsible sports education and developing young talent. At Cercle Brugge there is a very strong sense of community and family-like atmosphere.
To continuously engage with the community and give supporters and Cercle Brugge fans a behind-the-scenes look at the club, they were eager to launch a podcast.
Our Challenge:
In close collaboration with Leentje Van Meirhaeghe and Pablo Vermote from Cercle Brugge, we produced the first season of the video podcast “De Vereniging”. This podcast immersed listeners in a world full of football stories, both on and off the field.
The success of this project began with developing a strong strategy. Our brand strategist, Julie Vandenhouweele, created a comprehensive communication plan with detailed guidelines.
The entire production was handled by Sébastiaan Bal and Sam Caron. This included building the set with a multi-camera setup, sound recording, and the correct lighting to create the cozy Cercle Brugge atmosphere. Our involvement extended to the entire postproduction process as well. With turnaround times of less than 48 hours, we remained highly flexible, which is crucial in the football industry.
